At Forma Pottery Studio, we understand that plans change. As a small studio with limited capacity, our refund policies help ensure we can continue offering thoughtful classes and experiences for our community.

Classes & Multi-Week Series

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to hello@formanapa.com.

• Cancellations made 14 or more days before the first class date are eligible for a full refund to the original payment method, less any processing fees.

• Cancellations made 7–13 days before the first class date are eligible for studio credit only.

• Cancellations made less than 7 days before the first class date are non-refundable and not eligible for studio credit.

• Once a class series has begun, refunds, credits, or transfers cannot be issued for missed classes.

Rescheduling & Make-Ups: Registration for a multi-week series is for the specific dates listed at the time of booking and cannot be transferred to another series once the series has begun. If you miss a class, make-up sessions are not guaranteed and may be offered at Forma’s discretion, subject to availability.

Workshops & One-Time Experiences

• Cancellations made 14 or more days before the event are eligible for a full refund, less any processing fees.

• Cancellations made 7–13 days before the event are eligible for studio credit only.

• Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event are non-refundable.

Rescheduling: Requests to move a registration to another workshop or class must be made at least 7 days before the scheduled event and are subject to availability. Requests made less than 7 days before the event cannot be accommodated. Registrations may be transferred to another participant with advance notice to the studio.

Private Events

To reserve a private event, payment or deposit may be required.

• Cancellations made 14 or more days before the event are eligible for a full refund.

• Cancellations made 7–13 days before the event are eligible for a 50% refund or studio credit.

• Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event are non-refundable.

Rescheduling requests are subject to availability.

Memberships

Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Membership cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 14 days prior to the next billing date, in accordance with our Membership Policies.

No refunds or credits will be issued for unused studio time, missed sessions, or early cancellation during the initial three-month commitment period.

Clay, Retail & Merchandise

Unused retail items may be returned within 14 days of purchase with proof of purchase.

Returned items must be unused and in original condition. Opened clay, tools, or consumable materials are final sale.

Gift cards are non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash.

Kiln Firings & Ceramic Work

Ceramics are inherently unpredictable. While we take great care in handling and firing work, Forma cannot guarantee firing outcomes and is not responsible for cracking, warping, glaze defects, kiln accidents, or breakage that may occur during the ceramic process.

No refunds or credits will be issued for damaged or unsuccessful ceramic work.

Studio Cancellations

If Forma cancels a class, workshop, event, or session, participants will receive either:

• A full refund, or

• Studio credit of equal value.

Exceptions

We understand that emergencies happen. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis at Forma's sole discretion.
