Welcome to Forma Pottery Studio ("Forma," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service govern your use of our website, classes, workshops, memberships, events, and studio facilities. By booking, purchasing, or participating in any Forma offering, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

By using our services, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian. Parents or guardians are responsible for minors participating in Forma programs.

2. Bookings & Payment

Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.

Prices, offerings, and schedules may change without notice. Forma reserves the right to modify or discontinue services at any time.

3. Class Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellation policies may vary by program and will be listed at the time of booking.

Unless otherwise stated:

• Classes canceled more than 14 days before the start date may receive a refund or studio credit.

• Cancellations made within 14 days of the start date are non-refundable.

• Missed classes and no-shows are not eligible for refunds or makeups unless expressly offered by Forma.

If Forma must cancel a class, workshop, or event, participants will receive either a refund or studio credit.

4. Memberships

Memberships are subject to the current Membership Policies, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Membership benefits, studio hours, and access policies may change from time to time.

Memberships are non-transferable and may not be shared.

5. Studio Access & Conduct

Forma is a shared community studio. Participants agree to:

• Follow all studio guidelines and safety procedures

• Clean work areas and equipment after use

• Treat fellow members, instructors, and staff with respect

• Use equipment only as intended

Forma reserves the right to suspend or terminate participation or membership without refund for unsafe behavior, harassment, theft, misuse of equipment, or repeated violation of studio policies.

6. Clay, Glazes & Firing

To ensure kiln safety and consistency:

• Clay used in the studio must be purchased through Forma unless otherwise approved.

• Outside glazes or specialty materials require prior approval.

• Clay, glazes, and materials provided by Forma are for studio use only.

Ceramics are inherently unpredictable. While we take great care in handling and firing work, Forma is not responsible for cracking, warping, glaze defects, kiln accidents, or other damage that may occur during the ceramic process.

7. Personal Property

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings and tools. Forma is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.

Work left beyond designated storage or pickup periods may be recycled, donated, or discarded at Forma's discretion.

8. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

Participation in pottery and studio activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to the use of tools, equipment, kilns, glazes, and ceramic materials.

By participating, you voluntarily assume these risks and agree to release and hold harmless Forma Pottery Studio, its owners, employees, contractors, and instructors from claims arising from participation to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

9. Photography & Marketing

Forma may photograph or record classes, events, and studio activities for promotional purposes.

If you prefer not to appear in photographs or videos, please notify us in writing.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Forma website—including text, logos, graphics, and photographs—is the property of Forma and may not be reproduced without permission.

Participants retain ownership of their original artwork.

11. Website Use

You agree not to use the website for unlawful purposes or interfere with its operation or security.

12. Privacy

Any personal information collected through our website or booking systems is governed by our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms

Forma may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
